I rent in a house with very hard water that dried out my skin and hair. This showerhead definitely softened the water.
However, they said it would last appx. 1 year/person @ 1 shower/day, but after about 6 months, I felt the hard water effects again. May last longer in a house with softer water?
Also, the pebbles started to break down, and little hair-like spikes of black rock started to poke through the holes, causing individual streams of water to go everywhere. I worried these bits might get in my face or eyes.
The kit came with a set of replacement pebbles, but replacing them was hard.
The gasket+mesh above the brown pebbles was hard to remove; had to pry it out with my thumbnail.
Both the black and brown pebbles were wedged tightly in their compartments, and I tried several tools to get them out (the hook end of a grapefruit spoon worked best).
Overall, the showerhead works, but I need to replace the pebbles more often than anticipated.

Amazing product for those dirty jobs or even messy kids...It's a pressure washer for your body and the stone hands down show results after probably 2-3 wash...my hair I really can't even with how soft it is now...this invention is better than sliced bread....I couldn't imagine life without it...It blows my mind at how much somthing as small as a shower head can have such a powerful impact on my life...

Not good quality for the price, probably cost $5 to make. Furthermore, the adverting video kept showing the hose that it connects to which by surprise you have to purchase separately. Oh and they accept returns! Wonder why hmm

I love this shower head! I did have to buy a newer one do to the old one getting stained from the stones. I couldn't remove the orange color from the stones. Not sure how that happen. I've changed them yearly and for the 3rd time changing them it had stained. BUT I still love the product!

Just like the original one this shower head is amazing. The original lasted me almost 2 years. Living with my mom now and her water pressure sucks but this makes it so much better. Overall I love the shower head, the struggle is with the stones little pieces get trapped not letting the water through like it should. I had to buy another shower head as my previous one after a 1 year broke the silver ring just broke out of no where. I tried to uncrew it and ended up cutting tree fingers. I didn't take pictures of the shower head or my cuts but I repurchase another shower head because I like how it functions but maybe the company should trying or consider to use other materials to avoid that? Idk.
